Leila beat thousands of other hopefuls to be mentored by infamous entrepreneur Ivan Massow for the hot TV show. Millions watched as Ivan and Leila won the programme, which followed the development of Halos n Horns from concept to shop shelf.
Business gurus Stelios Haji-Ioannou (EasyJet), Ian Waterstone (Waterstones, HMV) and Luke Johnson (Ch4, The FT, Pizza Express, The Ivy) pronounced Halos n Horns the out right winners. The esteemed judges were blown away by the fact that within one year the pair had managed to secure the biggest supermarket distribution deal for an independent brand in the UK retail history.
