Halos n Horns

How it Began

Watched by the nation thanks to the Channel 4 documentary “Make Me A Million‟ young mum Leila Wilcox set up Halos n Horns with the backing of business mentor and entrepreneur Ivan Massow when she realised that a huge gap in the market existed for mums like her.

She belonged to an ever-growing number of parents with a child who suffers from eczema, asthma or some other form of allergic reaction to big brand shampoos. Like many mums, she was angry that cheap harmful chemicals were being allowed into children’s products branded as “gentle‟ or “child friendly‟, and wanted to create an affordable alternative that would be widely available.

"It didn’t seem fair to me that the products that were free of the chemicals that were irritating my son’s eczema were too expensive for me and really boring for him. As a mum I wanted something better and developed Halos n Horns to be safe, fun and affordable." Leila

Hailed as the most successful launch of a new brand in retail history, Halos n Horns achieved nationwide distribution with listings in all the major UK supermarkets including Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Somerfield and Waitrose.

Halos n Horns has now partnered with Ceuta Healthcare, the largest independent outsourcing sales and marketing company in the health and beauty industry. Leila now helps in areas such as brand development, PR, marketing and new product development.
